  • PetaPixel 8.5/10

Xiaomi proves there’s a way to cut under a certain price yet still deliver an excellent, fully-featured camera array.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro is a really nice phone, with a triple camera system, it has a great main camera, a good 2x telephoto camera, and a good enough ultra-wide-angle camera, and it’s a definite improvement over last year’s 12T Pro.

  • WIRED 7/10

It fails to thrill, but the Xiaomi 13T Pro is a solid proposition for the price. It nails the essentials with a great screen and camera and doesn’t scrimp in any major respect.

Despite lacking certain premium norms – such as wireless charging – the Xiaomi 13T Pro provides an otherwise near-perfect flagship experience whilst boasting an impressively low price compared to its competition.

  • Digital Trends 6/10

It’s not bad, the design is unique, and there’s plenty of performance on demand, but the feature list and camera look mediocre next to the many outstanding, similarly priced phones released over the past year.

The 13T Pro continues to be a stellar choice in 2024, and while it may not have the latest hardware or the best cameras, it is a great all-rounder.

The only true shortcoming here is the lackluster selfie cam, but if you don't mind that, the Xiaomi 13T Pro is a flagship well worth recommending.

  • GSMArena.com

The Xiaomi 13T Pro brings some nice firsts for the series, like the more advanced camera and the IP68-rated design. But it also keeps one dated legacy feature and probably the only potential setback we can foresee - the 20MP Quad-Bayer selfie camera.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro can take a particularly pleasing photo with minimal effort, has consistently great battery life (with insanely quick charging). Its performance on par with full-on flagship phones.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro has arguably the best hardware of any phone at this price, but that doesn’t mean it’s the right device for you.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro delivers an impressive flagship-like experience at a mid-range price point, making it a budget flagship contender that punches above its weight.

All right, so overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'm giving the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro a major, major go. At 575 and 700 bucks, as Bob Barker would say, the price is right.

Now right at the beginning, straight off the bat, I want to give you an honest take: this is not going to be a good phone, and that's because it's a great phone.

For some $650, this phone offers excellent value in my opinion. Its cameras are good, it has powerful performance, it has IP rating, better software commitment, and its display is top-notch too.

So well done MediaTek, they really are stepping things up there, and overall the Xiaomi 13T Pro comes out as a good phone, but there are some firmware updates required to really get the best out of it, so the cameras especially with that bug I had with the camera app.

  • Pocket Tactics 9/10

All-in-all, the Xiaomi 13T Pro offers a top-end Android smartphone for a lower price than many of its competitors, with a much better camera than most. It's not an innovation, but in place of trying to push the boundaries, it does everything a great smartphone should.

It's a strong contender within this price point, and I don't think there is any alternative for this kind of price range for this kind of specs at this point in time.

All things considered, having just a few flaws, the Xiaomi 13T Pro offers a lot of flagship qualities that make this a solid device, but those flagship qualities can be bought for a lower than a flagship price.

[T]here is no wireless charging, I'm a bit worried about the integrity of the plastic frame, the USB 2.0 standard used bothers me, and the very basic selfie camera performance, so maybe not really a true flagship, although it has a lot of flagship grade features [...]

Now my quick take on this Xiaomi 13T Pro is this: I'm really happy that the Leica partnership made its way to the T-Series and the macro capabilities on this phone is really good. The main camera is where it's at, but the ultra wide and telephoto could use some tweaking.
