It should be obvious that I am hugely impressed with this lens. It is compact, super-sharp … and quite affordable.
I really liked the Fuji X-T1, and it has been updated into a fearsome camera with the Fuji X-T2.
As mentioned earlier on, using the Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM Lens (B&H / Amazon) with the 42 megapixel of the Sony a7R II (affiliate), gave an astonishing amount of detail in the files.
With all these positives for the lens – are there any negatives? With various images that I shot wide-open, it looked like the Sigma was consistently a third of a stop UNDER the other two lenses.
