Tamron Unveils 35-150mm and 35mm for FF DSLR, 17-28mm for FF Mirrorless

Tamron has just announced the development of two new full-frame DSLR lenses (the 35-150mm F/2.8-4 Di VC OSD and SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD, and one new full-frame mirrorless lens (the 17-28mm F/2.8 Di III RXD).

35-150mm F/2.8-4 Di VC OSD (Model A043)

The new 35-150mm will be a fast and compact portrait zoom lens for DSLRs that features an f/2.8 aperture on the wide end and an f/4 aperture on the telephoto end.

Features include a minimum focusing distance of 17.7in (45cm) and a Dual MPU (Micro-Processing Unit) system for fast autofocus and vibration compensation.

SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD (Model F045)

The upcoming SP 35mm f/1.4 for DSLRs features a durable lens barrel, fast and precise autofocus, beautiful bokeh, and “various other features for increased convenience” that make the lens a perfect everyday lens.

17-28mm F/2.8 Di III RXD (Model A046)

The upcoming 17-28mm f/2.8 is designed for Sony E-mount cameras and is both compact and lightweight.

It features a 67mm filter size, a minimum object distance of 7.5in (19cm), an RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) stepping motor for fast and quiet autofocus (well-suited for both stills and video).

Availability

Pricing for these three upcoming lenses has yet to be announced, but Tamron says the lenses are scheduled to hit the market in the middle of 2019.
