Newlyweds Barely Avoid Falling Tree Branch in Wedding Video
Wedding photography can be unpredictable, and it’s the job of the photographer to keep shooting through unforeseen challenges. Photographer Freddy Hernandez was shooting video of a couple in Wisconsin last weekend when there was a loud crack. When they looked up, they saw a large tree branch plummeting down at them.
At the time of the incident, the couple, Cheyenne and Lucas Kopeschka, were sitting on a picnic bench and reflecting on their journey to marriage when they heard the sound above them. The duo managed to hurry out of the way a split second before the large branch dropped onto the exact spot they were sitting moments before.
“The couple would’ve been seriously hurt” had they not moved in time, Hernandez tells PetaPixel. Thankfully, no one got hurt (including the man seen in the background), and the couple’s special day resumed without any further interruption.
“This couple’s love will forever be stronger than that tree,” the photographer writes.
