Here’s a 4K Flow Motion Timelapse of an African Safari

Time-lapse photography artist Tyler Fairbank just released this beautiful 3-minute short film titled Safari Botswana. It’s a 4K “flow motion” timelapse that captures the sights and sounds of the African country.

“I shot about 38,000 raw still images over 8 days and the entire video is made up of those stills,” Fairbank tells PetaPixel.

Those 38,000 photos were rendered into roughly 300 separate time-lapse clips. Everything was edited in LightroomTL, Lightroom, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.

“From the Okavango to Chobe to the Kalahari, Botswana is home to some of the best wildlife in the world,” Fairbank writes. “This is a quick glimpse into what you may encounter while visiting this beautiful country.”
