Meike Unveils an 85mm f/1.8, Its First Autofocus Lens

Meike has announced its new 85mm f/1.8 full-frame lens, the Hong Kong-based camera gear manufacturer’s first autofocus lens. It’s available for Canon EF-mount cameras.

The MK-85mm f/1.8 features an all-metal body, a multi-coated front element, a lens hood, 9 elements in 6 groups, a minimum focusing distance of 2.78 feet (0.85m), and a filter thread of 67mm.

Pricing and availability have yet to be announced.

Update on 4/23/18: Meike originally stated that this lens will be available for “Canon EF, Nikon F, and Sony E mounts (for APS-C cameras),” but the webpage has since been changed to state that the lens is only available for Canon EF.
