Engagement Photographer Hides in Small Trashcan to Get the Perfect Candid Shot

If you want to get a great candid engagement shot, you have to be good at hiding. But how far would you go to get a great angle of a private engagement at a park without being seen? Canadian photographer Chance Faulkner was willing to go further than most… right into a tiny trashcan under a nearby tree.

To make sure he captured a truly candid moment and didn’t give away the proposal plan, Faulkner arrived at the Riverview Park & Zoo in Peterborough, Ontario early and climbed into a trashcan near the arranged spot.

Of course, after Adam got the yes from his new fianceé Bailey, he couldn’t resist showing her where their photographer was hiding. Her reaction to the hiding spot is as good, if not better, than her reaction to the engagement:
