Largest Photowalk in History Set to Take Place Next Tuesday in San Francisco

The Google+ Photos team along with photographers Thomas Hawk, Trey Ratcliff and Robert Scoble are organizing what they think may turn out to be the biggest photowalk in the history of, well, photowalking. Set for next Tuesday May 14th, the event already has almost 700 confirmed guests via Google+.

Needless to say, if you’re never been to a photowalk, this would definitely be the one to start at. With professional photographers coming out, an after party at the end of the night, and the Google+ team giving away a pair of Google Glass glasses to one lucky participant, the stage is set for a pretty amazing day.

The event is free for anyone to attend, and they’re not discriminating when it comes to skill or gear either. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, shoot with a 5D Mark III or a smartphone, the Google+ Photos team would like you to come out and get your photography on (so to speak).

Details regarding the exact meeting location and route haven’t been released yet, but the walk will take place on Tuesday May 14th starting at 5:30pm local time. To sign up for the walk and make sure you’re eligible to win Google Glass, click here to register and make sure you stick around till the end, as you’ll need to be present in person to collect your prize.
