By now it's common knowledge that the upcoming iPhone 11—or whatever it ends up being called—will feature a triple camera design that adds a wide-angle camera to mix. But according to a new report, it'll use that wide angle camera for a new feature called 'Smart Frame' that will let you adjust perspective after your photo has already been taken.
"I get it digital picture frames are dead, uninteresting things that we all tried and left on the wayside with fax machines and 8-track tapes," wrote Aura founder Abdur Chowdhury a few days ago. "But what if they weren’t?"
Digital picture frames seemed like a brilliant idea about six or seven years ago. But the low-res screens, clunky interfaces and lack of any sort of standard operational platform left them to be a fairly niche market floundered when it arrived into the world.
