Canon recently announced the EF-M 28mm STM and the EF-S 35mm f/2.8 IS STM, two macro lenses that feature Canon's first built-in LED ring lights on their fronts. Canon says one of the advantages of the lights, which can be independently controlled on the two sides, is an instant improvement to macro wedding ring photos.
Canon just announced a new macro lens for its crop sensor cameras. The new EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM is equivalent to a 56mm on a full frame camera and aims to bring affordable macro photography to the masses.

Many of Canon's announcements as of late have been for its full frame DSLRs, but the company hasn't forgotten about all its APS-C customers. It will reportedly be refocusing on its EF-S crop sensor gear at the beginning of next year, with announcements of new lenses and a DSLR.
