To wrap it up, Canon did a masterful job with a fifteen hundred dollar R8 all the way around. If I'm confident enough to take it as my only camera to Paris or confident enough to use it on a job, then I'm confident it will get the job done in your hands.
So at the end of the day, it's an amazing lens. If you can afford it and you can justify it, absolutely pre-order and buy it.
Not that Nikon is going to be able to supply it very much because I guarantee you as soon as they announce it they're gonna be like [...]
I would prefer something a lot faster, but again, for what it is and who it's for, it's a very nice option.
In terms of the autofocus tracking, I think it did a very good job.
The fact that you have 14 to 35, it's light, it doesn't take up as much space in the bag, you can go 14, you can go to 35, it's a great photojournalistic lens.
The quality looks good, the the build quality of the camera feels better than the ZV-E10, and I could see recommending this to someone who is a content creator and taking it out and just doing stuff like this and stuff out in the real world.
The Nikon Nikkor Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S for a pro is a must-have for sports shooters, no questions asked, but those guys make money and the newspapers make money and they're going to buy these lenses and furnish them with the people that are still shooting with Nikon.
[T]his is a fantastic lens, especially paired with the A1.
It's $649 so as I said earlier if you're someone who just wants to take pictures outside and get more reach this is the best option that you can get.
So was I happy with the results from this Nikon Nikkor Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S?
I still say if you can afford this camera, go pre-order it or go order it because I guess you'll get it whenever they finally can ship them all, and you will not be upset with it. It passed the tests that I was hoping that it would pass.
The files look great, the colors look great, but more so than anything, the autofocus was mind-blowing. Yes, the autofocus is mind-blowing.
This Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II will be back in my bag because I can rely on it. It's sharp, it's colorful, it's light, easier to carry around, the focus is incredibly fast, it pairs with the A1 extremely well.
The quality of the results that you get from this camera are not in question at all. I'm really happy with the results that I got with this camera, even with the kit lens, love it.
If I was buying a lens for the Z system and I needed a macro lens, I'm buying the Nikon Nikkor Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S Macro all day long.
Canon absolutely knocked it out of the park with the R6. It holds up today, and it's going to hold up tomorrow.
[I]f you're going to stick to outdoors and just shoot outdoors and you want to shoot your kid running around, you want to shoot the grandkids, you want to photograph birds in the trees [...] this could be a great option for you.
Am I surprised with how well it did? Yeah, I'm pretty surprised that it did fairly well in the situation I was using it in with the settings I had on.

I do want to finish this up and tell you that this is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, DSLRs ever made, and it's going to have a short life, and this will be the last of the greatest DSLRs. What they did with this camera is fantastic.
Here we are a year out from the EOS R and honestly, it hasn't aged very well. It was already behind the curve when it was announced and a year later it's slipping further and further down the wrong side of the slide.
