  • DPReview 81/100

The Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS200/TZ100 packs a 24-360mm equiv. lens into a body that fill fit into all but the skinniest pockets. Its time-tested sensor produces high quality photos, its autofocus system is snappy, 4K video generally good and battery life strong.

  • Cameralabs

Ultimately for many photographers, the TZ200 / ZS200's combination of a big zoom and decent sensor in a pocket body is all they need to know: the lens range and feature-set are unbeatable in its class and like its predecessor it comes highly recommended.

They've added a new monochrome mode which is beautiful it's just like high contrast mode but overall I think this camera is still gonna suit people who want a classic travel camera or compact camera and frankly nobody else makes anything like this.

  • Digital Camera World

There is plenty to admire about the Panasonic Lumix ZS200, even aside from the headline grabbers of a one-inch sensor size and a 15x optical zoom reach from a ‘travel zoom’ camera that will slip unobtrusively into a jacket pocket or rucksack pouch when on the go.

Panasonic's advanced bridge camera is relatively pricey but offers a powerful 15x optical zoom and a large 1-inch image sensor in a compact body, which makes it great for traveling.

There’s an awful lot to like about the Panasonic TZ200. Despite being a few years old now, it still has a lot going for it, especially for anybody looking for a suitable travel camera to take with them - even if the travel is currently limited to nearby day trips and outings.

Not without its compromises, but the TZ200 is small, neat and not dramatically overpriced. It’s quite possibly the best travel camera you can buy I am a freelance journalist and photographer.

Now, increasing the optical zoom from 10 times to 15 times while keeping the camera size relatively the same size is definitely a good move in my opinion.

It does everything you want in a travel zoom, and does so in a body that’s perfect for slipping into a bag or pocket and taking on an adventure.
