What the Reviewers Say

All 9 expert reviews, weighted into the PixelMeter score.

  • DPReview 85/100

The Canon EF-M 32mm F1.4 is a compact and powerful standard lens for Canon's APS-C format mirrorless cameras. Sharpness is excellent, and out of focus areas are rendered very nicely.

[I]'m pleased to say that the Canon EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM is frankly a no-brainer for EOS M camera owners, a bit like the 22mm f/2 lens really, only even better.

When you look at the images from the camera, you'll see it is a superb lens, and so it should be, for the price of this lens in the UK is a pound short of five hundred, four hundred ninety-nine pounds, and that's 479 dollars in the U.S.

I will admit, I gladly paid the price for this lens because I was very hyped for it, and I feel like the price is justified, but for a lot of beginners and intermediates even, it's still a very steep price.

I took it out a few weeks ago, I got some sample footage, sample shots, and I have to say the colours coming out of this lens is true to Canon.
