The 2020 Adobe 99U Conference Will Be Held Online, for Free

Adobe’s annual 99U conference is usually an expensive, in-person event in New York City for creatives who want to get some hands-on education and inspiration from experts across artistic disciplines. But this year, the event is moving online, and it’s going to be free for everybody.

The announcement that the 12th annual Adobe 99U Conference would be moved online comes as no surprise given the current state of the world; but the news that the event will be free and open to everybody is still a pleasant surprise, given that tickets typically run in the $1,000 range. The 2020 conference will explore the question: “What does it mean to be a creative?” And instead of happening New York City, it will be held live on Behance on June 17th.

Keynotes, workshops, and master classes will be put on digitally by some pretty big names in a variety of creative fields, including Artist Kelli Anderson, Hulu VP of Product Design John S. Couch, Creative Career Coach Tina Essmaker, and many more, all wrangled by Adobe’s VP of Community Products Will Allen, who will play the role of emcee.
