Nikon Launches Yellow: Try the Nikon Z 50 Worry Free for 30 Days

Nikon has launched a new program called Yellow in the US that allows anyone to try the new Nikon Z 50 crop sensor mirrorless camera worry free for 30 days. If you don’t want to keep the camera, you simply send it back for a free refund, and there’s free shipping both ways.

Unveiled back in October, the Nikon Z 50 is the first DX-format mirrorless camera in the Z Series lineup. It features a 20-megapixel APS-C sensor, 4K 30fps video recording, a built-in viewfinder, a flip-down touchscreen LCD, slow motion, time-lapse, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, and more.

Nikon is so sure people will fall in love with the camera that the company is now offering a risk-free month-long trial for anyone who wants to try it out.

Visit the Yellow program page, and you’ll have your choice of three bundles: the Z 50 body by itself for $860, the camera with a 16-50mm VR lens for $1,000, and the camera with both a 16-50mm VR and a 50–250mm VR for $1,200. All three options come with a 16GB memory card and free expedited shipping.

To get the free trial, you will need to pay for the camera upfront (if using a credit card, but you can also do installments if paying through PayPal).

If you wish to return the camera within 30 days, Nikon will send you a prepaid return shipping label and refund you the purchase price once the camera is returned in like-new condition.

Nikon says its Yellow is a pilot program that’ll end on March 31st, 2020, so head on over to the program’s page before then if you’d like to give this camera a shot.
