Alien Skin Software Changes Its Name to Exposure Software

The photography software company Alien Skin Software announced a major company rebranding today. Henceforth, the company will be known as Exposure Software and its new website can be found at exposure.software.

The company formerly known as Alien Skin Software first started creating its tools for photographers back in 1993, and its award-winning photo editor, file organizer, and RAW processor Exposure X4 is used by photographers around the world.

The $119 software is available both as a standalone program or as a plug-in for Photoshop or Lightroom.

The new website logo and URL have already been rolled out, but a complete revamp of the website will be coming later this fall when Exposure X5 is released.

“More than just a name change, the new branding initiative reflects the importance of, and commitment to, making Exposure the best photo editor for creative photographers,” says Exposure Software CEO Finley Lee.

Lee’s company is following in the footsteps of the company formerly known as Macphun, which rebranded to Skylum less than two years ago.

In addition to Exposure, Exposure Software also sells Snap Art (for transforming photos “into works of art”), Blow Up (for doing “crystal clear” photo enlargements), and Eye Candy (for realistic effect rendering). Head on over to the Exposure Software website if you’d like to learn more about any of the company’s products.
