Samyang Unveils the AF 45mm f/1.8 for Sony FE

Samyang has just announced the new AF 45mm f/1.8 FE, an autofocus lens for full-frame Sony FE-mount mirrorless cameras.

One of the notable aspects of the lens is its portability: the “tiny but premium” lens measures just 2.2 inches (5.61cm) and weighs just 5.7 ounces (162g) without its hood and front cap.

Features and specs of the lens include a minimum object distance of 1.48 feet (0.45m), 7 elements in 6 groups, a 9-bladed rounded aperture, and “enhanced autofocus speed.”

The Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 will hit store shelves in May 2019 with a price tag of $399.
