Behind-the-Scenes Photos from the Set of Rogue One

Back in 2015, Sydney, Australia-based photographer Alex Benetel was invited by Instagram and Disney to shoot behind-the-scenes photos on the London movie set of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

“It was an unforgettable, once in a lifetime opportunity,” the 23-year-old photographer tells PetaPixel. “There were only four of us invited and I was the only photographer outside of the U.S. and Canada.”

While Benetel isn’t able to share very much outside of the photos she has published, her images are an interesting look at details you might have missed while watching the movie.

“To strike back.” ‘Two Tubes’ on the planet Jedha, in front of a crashed X-wing.

“It’s amazing that amongst the incredible yet chaotic process of filming a movie, I was able to capture this quiet, yet powerful moment behind the scenes,” Benetel writes.
