Ever since PetaPixel was founded back in May 2009, it’s strictly been a blog that’s enjoyed through your browser. That changes today. We’re pleased to announce the launch of our all-new PetaPixel Photography Podcast, a
daily twice-weekly news show about the wonderful world of photography.
If you love following along with PetaPixel’s blog posts, then you’ll love what we have to offer through this news show — it’s the best of photography content, packaged for your ears.
Each episode will be a short show filled with news, listener questions, and more. Most of them will run 20-30 minutes — a perfect length for your morning commute.
Want a taste of what the show is like? Here’s episode #1:
The host of the podcast is the talented Mike “Sharky” James, who’s coming over to join us from his previous podcast project, LensShark.com. James is an award-winning former photojournalist who’s passionate about everything related to photography, both delivering the news and sharing from his wealth of experience.
Want to subscribe and start following along? Here are some ways you can do so:
We’ve also set up a new page for the podcast at petapixel.com/podcast, where you can call in to leave a question and find show notes for all the episodes.
If you do join us in this journey, we’d appreciate your help in getting the word out. Please leave us reviews on our iTunes page and tell all your photography-lovin’ friends!
Update on 9/19/15: The PetaPixel Photography Podcast will transition into a twice-weekly show instead of a daily show. Our goal is to have a strong balance of quality and quantity, and that frequency should help us serve you better in those areas. Thanks for listening!
