This 1-Minute Video Shows 3 Hours of Retouching on a Glitter-Filled Portrait

Los Angeles-based photographer and retoucher Julia Kuzmenko McKim just released this 1-minute time-lapse video showing how she retouched a beauty portrait from a recent photo shoot. The skin, makeup, and red glitter made for “a very messy concoction,” McKim writes. It took three hours to go from original shot to final image.

In case you’re wondering, the special panel you see in McKim’s workspace is called Beauty Retouch and is sold for $69 through Retouching Academy, which McKim founded.
