The day is finally here: Amazon launched its first ever Prime Day today with sweet deals for Prime subscribers across many product categories — including photography gear.
First, you can keep your eyes on the Prime-exclusive Deals of the Day and Lightning Deals on the Prime Day page.
Look through the current and upcoming deals lists, and be sure to filter for the Electronics category to find things in the Photo category. At the time of this post, we’re seeing some digital cameras, lens filters, and memory cards:
Be sure to keep your eye on the page, as deals will be popping up and ending throughout the day.
Amazon is also heavily discounting certain camera bundles. Two listed so far are the Samsung WB2200F compact camera (40% off) and a blue Fujifilm X-A1 mirrorless camera with two lenses (over 50% off). Discounted prices will show up at checkout (the Fuji bundle drops from $800 to $570, down from its original list price of $1,200).
It seems Prime Day isn’t teeming with photography-related deals, as we had hoped, but you still might be able to find a sweet discount here and there if you look around. Good luck hunting!
