Another Gear Rental Shop Broken Into: The LensPal Burgled in Florida
We seem to be hearing more and more stories of camera gear offices being broken into and plundered. Late last year it was $2 million in gear from three businesses in California. Last month it was $586,000 from LensProToGo. Now the latest is the Florida-based gear rental shop, The LensPal.
After taking inventory of what was lost, The LensPal posted a list of stolen gear and the serial numbers online:

“It’s amazing what people can fit into 2 bags. #marypoppins,” the company writes. “The cops are putting all the serial numbers into the national database for pawn shops.”
If you live in Florida and suddenly notice a large number of relatively cheap cameras or lenses being sold through site’s like Craigslist, you might want to see if any of these serial numbers turn up — you could help bring some camera gear burglars to justice.
