Well-known lighting gear manufacturer Photoflex may live on after all. No, its original April 1st announcement that it was closing shop wasn’t an ill-conceived April Fool’s Joke or a bizarre marketing stunt — the struggling company is reportedly working on a deal that will allow the brand to live on.
A new message has appeared on the company’s website that informs customers that the company is “back in business” and that they can “buy with confidence” through dealers and distributors.
The business claims to be working on “opportunities that will keep Photoflex open,” but it may indeed be the end of the road for the company’s current owners. Resource Magazine is reporting that Photoflex is likely working out a deal with a potential buyer in order to sell off the brand and assets, but there’s currently no word on who the prospective buyer is or what stage the deal is currently at.
