Make a Simple DIY Lightbox for $25 Using an IKEA Box and LED Lights

Slovakian food recipe site Varme published this simple 1-minute video tutorial on how you can use $25 in IKEA products to create a DIY lightbox for improving your food and product photography.

The main ingredients of the build are a $20 DIODER 4-piece LED light strip set and a $5 SKUBB white storage case:

Place one LED light strip on each side of the storage box to illuminate the inside evenly, and then place your food or object inside:

Finally, snap away. Even your smartphone photos should be more usable for simple purposes (you may want to do a little color correcting in post):
