Earth, Moon, Venus, and Jupiter Lined Up in a Row, as Seen From the ISS

On July 19th, after NASA astronaut Scott Kelly’s 114th day on the International Space Station, Kelly pointed his camera out a window and captured this gorgeous photo that shows the Earth, the Moon, Venus, and Jupiter lined up in a row.

The glowing atmosphere of the Earth can be seen at the top of the frame. The largest white spot is the Moon, the second largest is Venus, and the smallest is Jupiter. While Venus is a much smaller planet than Jupiter, it’s also a lot closer to Earth.

The amazing shot racked up thousands of Retweets and Favorites after Kelly shared it through his Twitter account.
