Users of VSCO Cam for iOS and Android know that the app is more than just another photo editing suite; it is a social gateway for sharing photographs with others around the world. VSCO’s mobile application employs the company’s famous analog filters for retro styling on the move. Now, newly introduced ‘Collections’ will allow users to assemble their favorite images into one package and share their curations with others.

The application update has been pushed out for both Android and iOS users. If you have yet to receive the update, you can head to your device’s app store to manually retrieve it. Once updated, you can “be your own curator of great content.” When you add a fellow user’s creative work to a collection and publish it, they are automatically messaged via their notification center.

To get started, head into VSCO Cam’s Explore tab to begin browsing work submitted by users around the globe. If you find an image you like, you can save it to your private library by double tapping on it. When you switch to your library view, you can then select an image and publish it to a collection by tapping the ‘arrow’ icon.

If you have yet to check out the VSCO app, or if you simply want to learn more, you can download it for either iOS or Android by clicking here. For a detailed breakdown of how to use Collections on either device, click here.
