What does opulence look like in the world of selfie shooting? The Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri, that’s what. It’s a ridiculous $6,000 limited edition smartphone designed for people with extremely deep pockets and a yearning to snap showy selfies in style.

Only 1,947 of the devices will be produced and sold — a tribute to the birth year of the luxury group’s founder.

The back side of the phone features a 20-megapixel camera with snappy autofocus, dual LED flashes, facial recognition, and white balance correction.

On the front is an 8 megapixel camera for snapping quality photos of your own face. “Are your selfies a monument to luxury?” the phone’s teaser website asks.

The screen of the phone is a 5-inch full HD display that’s designed to bring “photos and videos to life in crystal clear detail.” Inside is a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, and Android 4.4

Construction-wise, the 88 Tauri is handcrafted with 19 gold-plated stainless-steel components and covered with stitched panels of thick calfskin leather.

The phone can be purchased for $6,000 through certain luxury shops (e.g. Harrods in London) or by visiting the Tonino Lamborghini online store.
