Trombone Duet Captured Using Cameras Attached to the Slides

New York Philharmonic trombonist David Finlayson scored an viral Internet hit earlier this month after attaching a GoPro camera to his instrument’s slide and then capturing quirky footage with the setup.

If you enjoyed that creative point of view, you’ll be delighted to know that the awesome just got awesomer: National Symphony principal trombonist Craig Mulcahy used the exact same concept to record himself playing the 2nd trombone part of the same song. He then combined the two videos into the amazing visual and auditory experience seen above. The video is titled, “Slidecam Duet.”
