- PetaPixel 6/10
The Phantom X2 Pro takes a unique approach in some respects, but its most unique feature is clearly the retractable portrait lens. And yet, it sometimes feels like an existing feature is matched by one that’s missing.
-
Ultimately, the lackluster software detracts from what is a good hardware package.
-
[T]he Phantom X2 Pro is an alright phone but the downsides make it a bit Tougher to recommend.

If you’re looking for a flagship smartphone that won’t break the bank compared to the competition, the Tecno Phantom X2 Pro 5G is definitely worth considering.

Its overall performance is flagship level, build quality is solid and the retractable camera I’ll say is innovative.

The Phantom X2 Pro 5G has a price of 42,999, which is expensive considering the things that it does not have.
-
I can see a hardcore Tecno fan getting the smartphone and keeping it for a long time, considering the fact that this is a super good-looking and performing smartphone.
-
[I]t’s hard to recommend the TECNO Phantom X2 Pro because there are better options in the market right now. But if you want a reliable phone that’s great at taking photos and can catch people’s attention, the TECNO Phantom X2 Pro is still worth looking at.
-
[I]t looks like a great package with a solid design.

It's a solid smartphone with solid performance at a very good price. The Phantom X2 Pro is a true flagship killer.
-
With the specs, the pricing, and the assurance of updates to Android 15, TECNO is moving in the right direction.
