- PetaPixel 8/10
The Ricoh GR IIIx isn’t cheap at $1,000, yet it justifies the price with its output.
-
It addresses a lot of the complaints that I do have for this, and I love that camera, but I will end it on this note: this camera, there's just something about which makes it easy to covet and love, and that's an underappreciated factor in cameras nowadays.
-
Sporting a sharp 40mm f/2.8 lens, an impressive 24-megapixel APS-C sensor, and a legendary design, the Ricoh GR IIIx is easily one of our favorite truly pocketable cameras.
-
If you're looking for a camera that fits in your pocket and doesn't have a web browser, this might be the best option for you.
-
More importantly than features, the GR IIIx is a joy to use. It's a camera that you want to have in your pocket.
- SlashGear 8/10
I really do like this camera, especially in low light, but there are some glaring issues that would stop it from replacing a DSLR, mirrorless system, or even an old point n' shoot in my bag.
-
[I] think I'm going to use this more than my other GR because it's so much fun and I think 40 millimeter really suits my style.
-
The Ricoh, I do see what the fuss is about. I do see how you could easily fall in love with this camera and take it around with you everywhere and rave about the image quality.
