The Hasselblad-Branded Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Is the World’s First Phone With Three 200MP Rear Cameras

Oppo has unveiled the Find X10 series, headlined by the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max. Both phones feature Hasselblad imaging technology, but only the Find X10 Pro Max is the world’s first smartphone to include a triple 200-megapixel rear camera system.
“Find X Series has always been driven by our commitment to push mobile imaging forward and help people effortlessly capture the beauty of life,” says Pete Lau, SVP and Chief Product Officer at Oppo. “With Find X10 Series, we are making one of our biggest leaps yet in mobile imaging. From an industry-first Triple 200MP Camera System on Find X10 Pro Max to the next-generation LUMO True Image Engine, Find X10 Series is built to reproduce the world as you see it and keep every shot true to the moment.”
200-Megapixel Cameras Galore
Both the standard Find X10 and the bigger, better Find X10 Pro Max feature 200-megapixel cameras. The Find X10 has two: the main and telephoto. The Find X10 Pro Max adds a third 200-megapixel camera: a brand-new ultra-wide.

While the Find X10 and X10 Pro Max both have 200-megapixel main and telephoto cameras, that doesn’t mean they are the same 200-megapixel cameras. The standard Find X10 has a 200-megapixel Type 1/1.4 main camera with a 23mm f/1.6 lens, while the X10 Pro Max ups the ante with a larger Type 1/1.3 sensor and a 24mm f/1.5 lens.
Oppo says it co-developed the new ISOCELL HPC-series sensor with Samsung. The company touts “breakthrough HDR” performance thanks to its DeepPix technology.

On the telephoto side, both sensors are Type 1/1.56, but the lenses differ. The X10 has a 65mm f/1.6 lens, while the X10 Pro Max has a longer but slower 70mm f/2.1 lens. However, this 70mm telephoto lens also serves as the phone’s macro camera, thanks to its minimum focusing distance of just 10 centimeters (3.9 inches).
To reach even further, both the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max work alongside the Oppo Hasselblad Teleconverter, which offers 3.28x optical magnification.

The new 200-megapixel ultra-wide camera has a relatively large Type 1/1.56 image sensor. Ultra-wide cameras on smartphones often use very small image sensors, but that is not the case with the Find X10 Pro Max. The Hasselblad 200MP Ultra-Wide Camera captures twice as much light as the previous-generation device and has a 124-degree field of view.

Oppo’s New LUMO True Image Engine Promises More Natural Smartphone Photos
But hardware is only part of the equation in digital imaging, especially on mobile devices. Software is very important. Alongside its new phones, Oppo has debuted its next-generation computational photography solution, LUMO True Image Engine.
Oppo promises more natural image processing, true-to-life color, and more realistic tone and detail that stays “faithful to the original scene.”

“Accurately reproducing color can be especially challenging under complex or mixed lighting. Find X10 Series features a New-Generation True Color Camera to capture richer multispectral color information from the surrounding environment. With this additional data, LUMO True Image Engine can reproduce colors more accurately across different lighting conditions, from subtle landscape tones to natural-looking skin tones,” Oppo says.
LUMO True Image Engine also incorporates Hasselblad Master Mode into the default camera experience on the new Find X10 Series phones. This promises a more “natural relationship” between light and shadow, rather than “aggressively brightening” every part of an image. Oppo touts a more “restrained” approach to image processing, which many smartphone photographers will welcome.

Oppo says it has reduced excessive sharpening, noise reduction, and AI-generated detail in its new phones to deliver more genuine, natural-looking smartphone photos.
High-End Video Features
As for video, both devices support 4Kp60 recording across all three rear cameras. The Find X10’s 200-megapixel main and telephoto cameras also support 4Kp120 and 8Kp30, while all three of the Find X10 Pro Max’s rear cameras offer these recording modes.
On the X10 Pro Max, Oppo says its DeepPix technology delivers up to 17 stops of dynamic range on the 200-megapixel main camera.

Both phones support Dolby Vision, have ACES-certified O-Log2 shooting, and, for the first time on an Oppo phone, record Open Gate video.
On the topic of video, Oppo has worked closely with Blackmagic Design to bring the X10 Series’ new capabilities directly into the Blackmagic Camera app on Android. There will also be a special Tilta Khronos Creator Kit for the Find X10 Pro Max.

Other Specs, Including Big Batteries
Rounding out the key specs, the Find X10 has a 6.59-inch display, while the X10 Pro Max has a slightly larger 6.78-inch panel. Both phones support up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness and are Dolby Vision certified. The phones are also among the first on the market to support the BT.2020 color gamut, which covers about 40% more color space than DCI-P3.
Both phones also feature very large 8,000mAh Silicon-Carbon batteries and support 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
