Adorama just opened up registrations for Inspire, a 3-day event in New York City from June 18th through the 20th. It’s an opportunity for photographers to get experiences, workshops, panels, and hands-on equipment time.
Held at The Altman Building in Manhattan, the three days will have different focuses: Tuesday is all about photography, Wednesday is about business/lighting/post-production, and Thursday is about video/motion. You can find the full calendar of scheduled events here.
The workshops are all free and are led by some of the top photographers and educators in the industry.

There’s also an Expo during the event featuring portrait setups, printing stations, and free hands-on time with the latest and greatest gear.
Instead of attending the shorter individual workshops on Tuesday, photographers also have the option of doing a full-day stylized wedding workshop. Tickets cost $100, and attendees will get to experience a special hands-on shoot with photographers Vanessa Joy, Jana Williams, Charmi Pena, Roberto Valenzuela, and Kesha Lambert (and stylist Kristen Rockhill).
“Work closely with these industry leaders in a bright NYC rental studio,” Adorama says. “You’ll shoot through six beautifully-styled wedding scapes, enjoy a lunch and learn, and build your portfolio.”
Finally, there’s also photo walks around NYC with well-known photographers for $25.
Head over to the Adorama Inspire conference website if you’d like to learn more about the events and sign up for yourself.
