200x Camera Zoom Lets You Read the Words on Airplanes

Here’s a video that’s going viral on the Web right now: Korean YouTuber MichealHrd shared this short video showing the power of a 200x camera zoom. You can zoom in on an airplane cruising by overhead and read the name of the airline on the side.

And if you’re wondering if this video is fake, just do a quick search on YouTube for “zoom airplane.” Many other owners of superzoom cameras have shared similar videos.

A Nikon P900 camera, which has 83x optical zoom and 332x digital zoom, can even show you what airplane contrails look like up close. Here’s an example by YouTubers Natallie and Duncan Manowski:
