Scoutt: A Crowdsourced Map for Finding and Sharing Photo Locations

Finding the perfect location for a photoshoot can be tricky and is even more of a challenge if you’re constantly looking for new spots to shoot. Scoutt is an interactive mapping service crowdsourced by photographers to scout out interesting locations around the world for fellow shooters.

 Scoutt’s goal is to assist you in finding new sites while also encouraging you to share your local favorites with others in the community. As of now, Scoutt is a free service while it is in the beta phase. Once you have an account, you have access to the service’s interactive map for finding new locations.

When we created an account, we found most location pinpoints to have quite some distance between them. But as Scoutt’s user base continues to grow, we anticipate a lot more locations added around the world.

Be sure to check out the Scoutt website and see if you can find any interesting locations near you. If not, consider adding some of your favorite spots for your fellow photographers to discover.
