Olympus PEN Commercial with a Twist

 

Olympus’ new commercial for the Olympus PEN E-PL1 is pretty typical, except that it has an interesting twist at the end. It’ll probably make you want to watch the commercial twice.

    The “twist” didn't do much for me, but conceptually this is a VERY odd commercial — with the photographer walking right past and ignoring all kinds of interesting subjects while yakking about her camera! Perhaps the ultimate appeal to gearheads?

    “The most amazing thing?” That a stylist didn't tell the model how chunky that outfit made her legs look!

    Nikon started this afaik, shooting a commercial on their first DV DSLR. Since then I think every company has done it.

    First of all. This commercial is about the camera. Second of all who ever called her fat is a fucking ignorant human being. Third of all that idea that if a woman calls another woman ugly it’s because of jealousy is true but not always. Not all the time that a girl calls another girl ugly it’s because of jealousy, it is just simply because she really does not think the other girl is attractive. When I say I don’t think a girl is all that great…….it’s because I really think she’s not that great. I see a beautiful girl I say it as is. End of story. And lastly
    yeah the media needs to feature people of a range of body types because that’s how reality is, however I HATE HATE HATE when people try to bring down thin or skinny people saying things like “thicker is better” or blah blah it’s like shut up some of us are naturally skinny. Nothing we can do about it. Stop hating too. Like if all chicks need to have huge asses and boobs. Nah….I love myself and I’m slender and petite and I also think thicker is just as beautiful.

    And IF in fact this Camera can film with that kind of quality. I’m buying it Next week.

    If it doesn’t I’m taking that shit back to best buy and shoving it up some ones ass.

    Commercial was good, and the camera is a nice one. Video quality, if all shot on that cam was a great. However! The example shots looked like crap, did anyone else not see it? Not the best examples IMHO. Pro Quality???
