PhotoPlus has postponed the Create NYC event that was originally planned for September of this year until sometime in 2023.

Following two straight cancelations of its annual trade show, PhotoPlus has rebranded as Create NYC and is moving from the Javits Center to the Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn.

PhotoPlus has launched Learning Lens, a new online platform that will play host to educational resources for photographers. The company says that it plans to cover anything and everything photographers could possibly want to learn about, all for free.

The PhotoPlus Expo in New York City won't take place until late October, but companies are already deciding whether or not to commit to going. First up: Olympus, who has officially pulled out of this year's show because of the ongoing pandemic.

By now, it's a near-certainty that Sony will be revealing the high-speed Sony a9 II near the end of October. And thanks to a few leaks, we now have our first look at the full-frame mirrorless camera.

PhotoPlus 2019 is only a month and a half away, meaning the exhibitor list and floor plan should be all-but-finalized. Which is why it was shocking to discover that there is no Sony booth on the floor plan, and the company is not listed as an exhibitor either. However, Sony tells PetaPixel that they WILL be at the show.
