How Many 4K TVs Are Needed to Show NASA’s Largest Roman Image Survey?

NASA astrophysicist Julie McEnergy, Roman Space Telescope Senior Project Scientist, sat down with NASA’s Sophia Roberts to discuss the staggering amount of detail that Roman will capture in its largest survey after it launches into space as early as this weekend. While it takes 36 4K TVs to show a single Roman image at its full 300-megapixel resolution, it would take over half a million 4K televisions to fully display Roman’s largest planned survey.
