- PetaPixel 7.5/10
One of the biggest knocks against the Vivo V70 is that it doesn't do much to separate itself from its predecessor, the V60, that released well under a year ago.
-
The Vivo V70 is a solid mid-ranger phone, offering a decent array of specs for the price you pay. It’s also housed in an attractive looking phone, which is not always true of models at this price point, so it’s a good bonus, too.
-
If you don’t have a huge budget but want a genuinely usable long-range zoom, then the V70 offers a stylish Android phone that is easy to recommend, its just a shame its not more widely available.
-
The Vivo V70 seeks to capitalize on the ongoing scenario where flagship products are becoming increasingly expensive by offering a premium coating, solvent photographic system, excellent performance and all-day battery life at a more moderate price tag.
-
Vivo's camera-centric, not quite flagship V line of devices has become a staple. It offers a solid and well-rounded experience, with a clear emphasis on camera performance, all inside a slick package that hits all of the basics, all without breaking the bank (usually).
- 91mobiles.com 8.1/10
The Vivo V70 offers a premium design, a vibrant display, reliable performance, capable cameras, and good battery life in a well-rounded package. It may not be the most powerful option in its class, but for users prioritising style and everyday usability, it is a strong choice.

The vivo V70 delivers ZEISS-quality camera performance and all-day battery life at a price that makes the obvious alternatives look expensive.

[W]hat Vivo has done here is taken the rather splendid V60 and just tweaked it updated it in a couple of key areas and made an absolute banger.
-
In its own right, the V70 delivers a balanced experience that emphasizes design, great cameras, and battery life. Its ZEISS optics with telephoto capabilities, and an efficient battery life are clear advantages that make it stand out in its class.
-
Just like what I said earlier, if you're coming from an older device of Vivo or even not from Vivo and photography focused, but without breaking the bank, I believe V70 is a great choice.
-
Honestly, no, because this phone is tuned for mood and distance and this is not just a mid-range phone with good cameras or just strong specs. It's a phone that was built with clear intent and that intent shows when you actually use this Vivo V70.
-
The Vivo V70 is a sleek choice for those who value aesthetics over raw benchmarks. With its flat-edge design and striking finish, it looks like a flagship twice its price.
-
This phone right here. This might be one of the perfect mid-range phones other than wireless charge.
-
After some time with the phone, we can say that the vivo V70 is a good daily driver option, especially for users who prioritize photography. This is thanks to its capable ZEISS camera setup.
- Techaeris 9.5/10
The vivo V70 is worth a look if you’re looking at midrange phones. It’s not perfect, but I do think it competes head-to-head with the best mid-rangers out there, and if you’re a midrange buyer, this is one for the short list.

[T]he vivo V70, like many others, has received a price bump. But unlike others, vivo has actually incorporated meaningful updates that make the new vivo V70 the best V-series phone so far.
-
[I]f you don’t need that a mid-ranger for two grand is not too bad a deal, especially considering what’s to come.
-
[...] Vivo V70 once again stands on its core camera pillars, offering flagship-grade cameras.
-
Regardless, V70 or V70 Elite, I think they're both going to be fun options that elevate the idea of a camera focused mid-ranger.
-
For the price, you get decent performance, good camera setup, featur software experience, and a very understated yet premium design.
-
The Vivo V70 at the end, I think it's quite a capable device, but you do have to keep in mind that this is not going to be the best you can get because simply put, it isn't priced as such and it does come with some weaknesses.

[T]he vivo V70 is a well-rounded mid-range device, especially for users who prioritise photography, battery life, and design over raw performance.
-
[T]he Vivo V70 is one of those phones that quietly gets a lot right. It doesn’t blow you away with benchmark numbers or some wildly experimental features, but it nails the kind of things that actually matter in daily use.

Though Vivo V70 is a moderate upgrade over its predecessor, it is a reliable Android phone.
