What the Reviewers Say

All 11 expert reviews, weighted into the PixelMeter score.

  • Cameralabs

Here's a camera that may not have prolevel video or autofocus, but which looks good, has a viewfinder, is dust and splash resistant, and has some of the best stabilization around. That's a combination that's not only tempting, but rare at this price point.

If the price drops over time, or there’s a great offer available, then the Olympus PEN E-P7 could make a good entry into the Micro Four Thirds world, particularly for those that don’t need or want an EVF.

The E-P7 blends stunning looks with a tried-and-tested engine, making it ideal for beginners and travel photography. The lack of a viewfinder may be a deal-breaker for some, while vloggers may be underwhelmed by its lack of video-centric specs.
