Should you buy it? Probably not, no. This camera is ideal for single operators looking to experiment with film but still make use of several useful modern features.

Simply put, beyond the marketing fluff there really is nothing quite like shooting on 8mm film and if you're seriously interested in giving it a shot then the Kodak Super 8 is the most accessible high-quality camera you can get.

In terms of my first shooting experience on film, I can tell you it was as fun and exhilarating as I imagined it to be.

Like, this is far too late, it's way too expensive, and I don't see very many people buying this camera other than people with the disposable income and willing to indulge in the novelty of this product.
