- PetaPixel 8/10
The Insta360 Go 3 is a clever take on action cameras that proves to be more than a gimmick.
-
Part of the sell of the Insta360 GO 3 is its small size and ability to go completely hands-free – to forget about it for easy shots, which is a big attraction.
- WIRED 7/10
It's still an incredibly fun, tiny camera that will fit just about anywhere, but the base station gives it even more versatility and much longer battery life. The result is a go-anywhere, shoot-everything camera.
-
The Insta360 Go 3 isn’t just a great follow-up to Insta360’s previous thumb-sized action camera, it’s also a great vlogging camera in its own right and one that I think is sure to find an audience amongst entry-level content creators.
-
Accomplished and arguably over-specified in all areas aside from resolution, the point of the Insta360 GO 3 is that it can be used to capture moments no other action can solely because of its tiny size.
-
The Insta360 Go 3 grabs quality 2.7K30 video and cleverly transforms between a wearable and traditional action cam, but some of its advanced video modes demand manual processing.
-
If you want a great, compact, fun little action camera for those moments when your phone is too bulky or conspicuous, the Go 3 could be perfect, and its smart ActionPod adds a touchscreen and wireless control to the mix.
-
I really do love this camera. I think the image and audio quality improvements alone are worth the upgrade from the GO 2.
- Android Police 8.5/10
The Insta360 Go 3 is a great miniature action camera that can fit just about anywhere and lends itself to plenty of creative shots.
-
The Insta360 Go 3 is ultimately a bit of a difficult product to recommend. It’s novel, well engineered and extremely clever – but it’s a tad too expensive and limited to recommend wholeheartedly.
- SlashGear 8/10
The Insta360 Go 3 is the camera to choose when a GoPro is just too big and heavy to suit a particular task.
-
It crams good image quality and performance into an incredibly compact, lightweight and versatile product that will almost certainly transform the way you capture video content – simply by virtue of being able to go almost anywhere.
-
This is not your new main A-cam, but it does inspire creativity, capturing fantastic new angles that you’d struggle to shoot any other way.
-
[E]ven with all this limitations, I still really enjoy using the GO3 and the GO3S.
-
If you are a fan of the Insta360 Go, the Go 3 is easily the best one by a long shot.
-
So I highly recommend the Insta360 GO 3. I think if you're looking for an action camera, then it's hard to go wrong with these.
-
It’s not as capable as something like a GoPro when it comes to interchangeable memory and batteries, but for a quick run-and-gun camera that is fun and easy to use, it’s an absolute blast.
-
[T]he video capabilities of this versatile little camera are pretty impressive, and the GO 3 is now a viable sidekick not only for capturing family memories and everyday moments but also for adding dynamic shots to productions [...]
-
This is an awesome little action camera. It solves a ton of issues that I've had with the previous GO 2.
-
[T]he GO 3 has a good amount of great features combined in a small form factor: magnets, a flip screen, FlowState stabilization, no overheating, great battery life, and how can we ignore this: this is a true pocket size camera.
-
If you’re looking for a compact, versatile action camera that offers unique shooting perspectives and is packed with user-friendly features, the Insta360 GO 3 is an excellent choice.
-
I still think the GO 3 is a must-have because of its size and portability.
-
Using a 360 camera on a bike is so much better that it's difficult to recommend the Go 3 for most people. The updates have made it an easier camera to use but the fundamentals haven't changed.
-
The compact versatility of the GO 3 far outweigh its shortcomings – and it gives Insta something to shoot for in future iterations of the camera.
-
Its small size and easy mounting options just make it super convenient.
-
This third iteration brings much better battery life, a small bump up in resolution and quality and the new action pod adds so much to what I'm able to do with this noise. It also makes configuring your settings so much easier.
-
I have to call the Insta360 GO 3 the best non-action action camera on the market.
