Donald Trump Shares AI Images of Taylor Swift Fans Wearing ‘Swifties for Trump’ Shirts
Presidential candidate Donald Trump took to his social media platform last night to share AI-generated images of young women wearing t-shirts emblazoned with the words “Swifties for Trump.”
The post on Truth Social shows deepfake women attending a concert wearing the shirts. The person who created the AI images did label them as “Satire.”
Trump’s post included two real photos of a woman wearing a “Swifties for Trump” t-shirt. The genuine pictures are reportedly of a 19-year-old Trump supporter and Taylor Swift fan who wore the shirt at a campaign rally in Wisconsin.
“I accept!” Trump wrote on the post. It is not clear whether the former president realized that most of the pictures are AI-generated. Another AI image included in the post shows Swift in the style of Uncle Sam with the caption reading: “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.”
The pop star hasn’t endorsed either candidate. However, there are rumors she may appear at the Democratic National Convention which starts today. At the last election in 2020, Swift endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Later on last night, Trump appeared to double down by sharing a video to Truth Social showing an apparent MAGA fan saying “Swifties were waking up” after a failed terror plot caused a cancellation of the Era tours in Austria. However, it is not clear if the video is authentic.
AI Image of Kamala as a Commmunist
Meanwhile over on X (formerly Twitter), where Trump has begun posting again, Trump shared a different AI image this time of a woman who looks a lot like Kamala Harris as a communist leader delivering a speech in Chicago. The AI-generated hall and audience are adorned with the hammer and sickle.

The Kamala as a communist image is a more obvious fake than the “Swifties for Trump” images but nevertheless, people showed their displeasure at Trump for sharing fake imagery.
“Honestly I don’t care if you’re left or right, candidates using AI images during their campaign should be illegal,” writes one user in a comment that received over 25,000 likes.
