10-Year Timelapse Shows the Construction of the 9/11 Memorial and Museum

The 9/11 Memorial Museum opens officially in two days. It is the final piece of the decade-long endeavor to memorialize the victims and location of what was the deadliest terrorist attacks to ever take place on American soil.

The above time-lapse, shared by EarthCam, documents the almost ten-year process, from October 2004 to May 2014, of the 9/11 Memorial and Museum being built.
