Master of Photography” is a new TV show that aims to do for photography what American Idol did for singing. Created by Sky Arts, it’s the first TV talent show in Europe focused on photography.

The show will contain 8 episodes spanning 8 weeks and feature 12 contestants who will compete in challenges for the title Best New European Photographer and a prize of €150,000, the largest ever offered in a European photo contest. The winning photo will also be given to a prestigious museum for display.
