This Newborn Photo Shoot Features Quintuplets
Australian newborn photographer Erin Hoskins of Erin Elizabeth Photography was recently hired to do a once in a lifetime photo shoot by a mother who just had quintuplets. That’s 5 babies for the price of 1.
BBC News reports that the 26-year-old mother, Kim Tucci of Perth, gave birth to the 4 daughters and 1 son in January after conceiving naturally rather than with IVF or fertility treatments. The chances of naturally having quintuplets is about 1 in 55 million.
The babies were born with the help of 50 doctors and nurses through a planned caesarean section. Tucci and the father are now responsible for changing about 350 diapers per week.
Tucci is documenting her quintuplet raising experience on her Facebook page, Surprised By Five, and has a Go Fund Me page for people interested in supporting the family financially. She raised over $40,000 so far for a van that will fit her entire family.
