Minecraft Player Constructs a Camera That Correctly Captures Perspective

If you’re a fan of the game Minecraft, then you may appreciate what SethBling has done. The Seattle-based player/inventor has created a working in-game camera using command blocks. His explanation is that the system uses ray tracing by shooting out armor stands from the camera, detecting when the stands hit another block in the scene, and copying that block onto a 2D canvas behind the camera. The camera is therefore able to correctly capture correct perspective by exactly recording its point of view. Impressive.
