Deal Alert: Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II for Only $1,800 ($500 Off)

The Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II is a great lens, but with a normal price tag of $2,300 it can be hard to justify over some third-party alternatives. Once in a while, though, a great deal comes along that substantially narrows that gap, and such a deal is on at B&H Photo right now.

If you go to their website and put the $2,300 lens in your cart, you’ll automatically be given a $300 discount in-cart. It should look something like this:

Then, once you’ve purchased the lens, you’ll be able to send away for another $200 off via mail-in rebate. In all that comes to $500 off, or about a 22% discount. Not too bad. To take advantage of this deal for yourself, head over to B&H Photo by clicking here.

Does this option work for Canada as well?

How is canon continuously selling not only below MAP price but below cost on these cameras and lenses? I have a suspicion that B&H is in the money laundering business.

for how long will this deal last?

This makes me think an Image Stabilized version is forthcoming.

Probably but the issue is your warranty isn’t valid in Canada and you’d have to go through a number of hoops to get it repaired if something were to happen. I know, crazy tempted myself.

    Wow, just wow.

Talk about slandering the name of an outstanding, and beyond reproach company.
You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope Petapixel ban you from this page and B&H sue you.

  • @JacksonCheese

Slander? Getting sued over a comment on a blog?
C’mon son, don’t be a moron. It’s not like he published that in the New York Times or something.

Amazon has it for the same price. It’s a really good deal.
