Humorous Video Points Out the Photos We Never Seem to Delete from Our Phones

One of the oft-mentioned pitfalls of the smartphone photography movement is that we end up with a ton of photos that just stay on our phones indefinitely, never to see the light of day. This humorous video points out some of the photos that you and I both probably have sitting somewhere on our phone and that, for one reason or another, we haven’t or won’t ever delete.

The video was put together by the minds at BuzzFeed, and all of their copyright sins aside, this is actually pretty spot on.

I’m sure many of you have specific examples of “pets lying in uncomfortable but cute places,” “cloud porn shot from an airplane window” and possibly “weird misspellings of your name by someone in the service industry” somewhere in your camera roll.

Of course, general wisdom regarding what to do about those photos buried deep inside the zeroes and ones of your smartphone’s hard drive is that you should print them, and tons of services (e.g. Printic and Picolo) have popped up that give us manual and automated ways to do just that.

But odds are many of us will never take advantage of such options, and these typical photos — from the random screenshots to the multiple shots of the same landscape you keep meaning to print but never do — will still be there next week… and next month… and probably next year too.

So how many of the examples above apply to you? Or better yet, how many more can you think of that BuzzFeed missed? Let us know in the comments down below.
