Diapod: A Simple LED Slide Projector

Have some slide film sitting around and no slide projector to show them off with? Diapod is a tiny product designed for you. It’s a simple and lightweight slide projector that uses a tabletop tripod, aluminum body, and LED light to project your slide film photos.

Here’s a short video showing how it works:

The Diapod is a slick projector, but if you’re looking for the cheapest solution it’s probably not for you: they cost €118 (~$153) over on the official website, while ordinary slide projectors can be had for less.

It’s a neat concept but it would have been better if it were able to connect to a smartphone

That’s true to… but I’ve been wanting something like this for ages!

Why would you want to connect this to a smartphone? It’s just a big lamp.

One of these things is not like the other.

I can’t find the Apple logo:)

old concept in a new packaging… this has no place in a digital world right now. But if it is an HD digital projector it will probably be a hit.

A fairly expensive lamp at that.  I’d rather go with a used carousel slide projector for anything more than a handful of slides.

Yeah going from a small lamp to a digital projector is quite a leap.

What you’re looking for is a pico projector.
