Print a DIY Flash Reflector on Card Stock

Want to print your own flash reflector? Pieroway has free PDF templates that you can use. The templates print double sided, with black printed on one side and faint gray fold lines printed on the other. Print it, cut the shape out, fold along the lines, and attach it to your flash with a rubber band.

Here’s what the template looks like:

You can also download them with Canon or Nikon logos. Try using the thickest, most durable material you can find. Ordinary card stock should work fine.

If you want to save some ink and give your reflector more character, you can print only the second page with the dotted lines, and fill in the reverse side yourself:

Hmmm… On second thought, you might want to stick with the double sided printout.

I prefer these, I’ve been using them for about three years now, and they work wonderfully.
